ITINERARY

 

DAY 01: ARRIVE IN BUENOS AIRES

Arrive in Buenos Aires. Arrival and reception at the airport; transfer to the hotel. Afterwards, do a city tour visiting the most interesting places in Buenos Aires. At night, transfer to El Querandi to assist to a dinner and Show. (D)

Overnight in Buenos Aires.

 

DAY 02: BUENOS AIRES – PUERTO MADRYN

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Trelew. Arrive at Trelew and depart towards Punta Tombo Fauna Reserve, the largest Magellan penguin colony in the continent. (B)

Overnight in Puerto Madryn.

 

DAY 03: PUERTO MADRYN

After breakfast, do a full day tour in Peninsula Valdes, declared World Heritage by UNESCO due to its geography, flora and fauna, features that turn it into a paradise of nature. During the tour you will be able to embark for whale watching, available from June to December (optional). (B)

DAY 04: PUERTO MADRYN – USHUAIA

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Ushuaia. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. (B)

DAY 05: USHUAIA

After breakfast, in the morning, you will do an excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only one with Sea coast. During the excursion, you can take the End of The World Train (optional). In the afternoon, you will sail through the Beagle Channel admiring the Sea Lions Island and Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. Transfer to the hotel. (B)

Overnight in Ushuaia.

 

DAY 06: USHUAIA – EL CALAFATE

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board the scheduled flight to El Calafate in due time. Arrival and reception at the airport. (B)

DAY 07: EL CALAFATE

After breakfast, visit the Perito Moreno Glacier situated within Los Glaciares National Park. Because of its beauty it was declared a Mankind Heritage by UNESCO. During the excursion, it is possible to take an Optional boat trip and enjoy a different view of the glacier wall. Return to El Calafate to board the scheduled flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival and accommodation. (B)

DAY 08: EL CALAFATE – BUENOS AIRES

After breakfast, day is at leisure. Do not miss the chance to sail along Argentino Lake through Ice Rivers Express excursion. Return to El Calafate and you will be transferred to the airport, to board the scheduled flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival and accommodation. (B)

DAY 09: BUENOS AIRES – IGUAZU

After breakfast, transfer to the local airport to board the scheduled flight to Puerto Iguazu in the morning. Arrival and reception at the airport; transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, you will depart from the hotel to the Foz do Iguazu National Park, to get a different view of the falls. Return to Puerto Iguazu. (B)

DAY 10: PUERTO IGUAZU

After breakfast, in the morning, you will visit the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. You will visit the Devil’s Throat Balcony, upper and lower paths from where you can take the Great Adventure as an Optional tour. (B)

DAY 11: IGUAZU – SALTA

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Salta. Arrival and reception in the airport. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the beautiful city of Salta including a must, the MAAM (High Altitude Archaeology Museum), with a great archaeological asset because of the girls mummies found in the Llullaillaco Volcano. (B)

DAY 12: SALTA

After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day excursion to Humahuaca´s Gorge visiting typical and colourful villages such as Purmamarca, Tilcara, Uquia and Humahuaca. In return, you will stop at Maimara and San Salvador de Jujuy, where you will shortly visit the main square, the Cathedral, the Cabildo, and the Government House. Return to Salta. (B)

DAY 13: SALTA – CACHI – CAFAYATE

After breakfast, you will depart from Salta through slopes and ravines to the Calchaqui Valley. You will visit Cachi, Route 40, De las Flechas’s Gorge, to finally arrive at Cafayate. (B)

DAY 14: CAFAYATE – SALTA – BUENOS AIRES

After breakfast, in the morning, you will take a brief tour of the town including a visit to a winery. After lunch (not included) you will depart towards Salta visiting the Quebrada de Cafayate (Cafayate´s Gorge) with its strange rock formations. Arrive at Salta and you will be transferred to the airport. Reception at the airport in Buenos Aires and you will be transferred to the hotel. (B)

DAY 15: DEPARTURE DAY

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport from the hotel to board your scheduled flight in due time. (B)

NOTES:

4. From Mid-April to Mid-September, the visit to Punta tombo Penguin Rookery will be replaced by a tour to Avanzado Mount and Punta Loma where it’s possible to see Sea Lions.
5. Buenos Aires and El Calafate: Arrival transfer with guide and departure transfer without guide.
6. Luggage: one normal suitcase and one handbag per person are considered acceptable. The extra suitcase will be charged to the passenger.
7. All outdoor activities are weather permitting.
8. Smoking is not allowed in the vehicles. Comfort stops will be made en route.
9. All distances and travelling times are approximate.
10. Peak Season Surcharge may be applicable during Xmas, New Year or during any special events.
